Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to search jobs, check employers and plan a career on ApplySafer, including people who use a keyboard, a screen reader, magnification or voice control.
What we aim for
We design and test against the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice that means:
- every page can be used with a keyboard alone, with a visible focus indicator;
- text and controls meet AA colour contrast, and nothing is shown by colour alone;
- pages work when zoomed to 200% and reflow at 320px wide without sideways scrolling;
- charts of salaries, costs or company figures always come with a table of the same data;
- animation is reduced when your device asks for reduced motion.
How we check
We test key pages with automated checks and by hand with a keyboard at desktop, tablet and phone widths. ApplySafer has not yet had an independent accessibility audit, so we do not claim full conformance with WCAG 2.2 AA.
Known issues
- Some older account and administration screens have not yet been moved to the new design and may have smaller touch targets.
- Documents we link to on other websites, such as Companies House filings, are outside our control and may not be accessible.
